We will be among the first to tell you that regular service intervals such as oil changes are one of the best ways to maintain your vehicle. We perform a comprehensive inspection on your vehicle every time you bring it into our shop. We also believe that having one technician perform all the service your vehicle requires from start to finish is the best way to fix your vehicle right the first time. This philosophy applies to our oil changes as well. They are quick and performed by the same technician start to finish. If you have questions about your vehicle or upcoming maintenance services or repairs needed at a later date, the technician that performed the service on your vehicle will be happy to answer any of your questions and walk you around your vehicle for an inspection.
Here at Taylor Co Automotive Service, we help our customers learn more about their vehicles and the importance of keeping them properly maintained and that doesn’t necessarily mean getting your vehicle inspected more often. We can offer oils that will extend time between service intervals. Most modern vehicles can now go far longer than the old recommendation of three months or three thousand miles, whichever comes first. Be sure to check your owner’s manual for their suggestions when it comes to how often you should have your oil changed.
Oil Filter in Pomona, CA
There are several different types of oil filters and we will use the right one for your car, truck or SUV. The oil filter is important because it allows your oil to circulate through your engine removing harmful deposits and debris that can find it way in your engine. The filter then traps the contaminants and allows your oil to re-circulate keeping your engine lubricated, protected and clean.
Whenever the filter becomes saturated, your oil can no longer clean your engine that is what determines when it is time to get an oil change. If you wait for your oil change light to come on in your vehicle, you may be doing more damage to your car than you realize. Often times the low oil light comes on when there is a drop in oil pressure and this only occurs when you have a severe leak or your oil levels are extremely low. Either way it is best to have your vehicle inspected sooner rather than later to save your engine.
